Studio71 puts Matt Seiler in charge of marketing solutions

The marketing veteran will focus on raising the international profile of the MCN through new content creation and distribution partnerships.

Studio71, the MCN owned by German media co ProSiebenSat.1 Group, has brought on board advertising and media executive Matt Seiler (pictured) as its new president of marketing solutions.

A big part of Seiler’s new job will see him focus on raising the international profile of the MCN through branded content creation with network talent and distribution partnerships.

Seiler will work out of Studio71’s Los Angeles headquarters and will report to CEO Reza Izad.

Among the network’s biggest creators is comedian Lilly Singh, who has expanded beyond YouTube to embark on a world tour and star in a documentary following that tour. Also working with Studio71 are vlogger-turned-author Matthew Santoro, Epic Meal Time, whose creators Darren and Harley Morenstein were recently commissioned by the CBC to create the linear series Elebrity and German musician Flula Borg, who is set to appear in the upcoming film Buddy Moon.

Prior to joining Studio71, Seiler served as chair of IPG Media Brands, as well as president and CEO of Omnicrown-owned PHD. His resume also includes work with BBDO and Goodby, Silverstein & Partners. Throughout his career, Seiler has worked with ad clients and focused on serving those clients with solutions for creation and distribution.
