Fullscreen taps Pete Stein to drive sales

The former Razorfish CEO is now responsible for strategy and marketing across the multi-platform network in a bid to drive growth of its brand relationships.

Pete Stein, the former CEO of marketing agency Razorfish, has joined with multi-platform network and media company Fullscreen as its new GM, head of Fullscreen brand group.

In the newly created position, Stein leads strategy and execution for clients across Fullscreen’s media management and sales, influencer marketing group, social video management, custom content development, production and distribution. He’ll also oversee the integration of Fullscreen’s social media studio McBeard.

As of Jan. 12, Stein now with teams in Fullscreen’s New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Chicago and Austin offices.

Fullscreen COO Andy Forssell said in a statement that Stein’s position presents a strong opportunity to drive growth in Fullscreen’s brand relationships.

“Fullscreen’s extensive creator network and relationships have made us a really effective partner for brands worldwide,” he said. That network consists of more than 75,000 creators, including comedian Grace Helbig and Vine prankster Nash Grier.

Just last week, Fullscreen struck a partnership with media buying company GroupM to launch Playa, an influencer marketing group.

On top of his experience at Razorfish, Stein also served a year-long post as executive in residence at New York’s Lerer Hippeau Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on early-stage media and tech companies.
