Discovery Communications has launched its first aggregated TV Everywhere streaming platform in the U.S., Discovery GO.

The service will provide users with live, on-demand and next-day access to a raft of series and blue-chip titles such as Gold Rush, Homicide Hunter and Survivorman from across Discovery’s nine U.S. networks, including Discovery Channel, TLC, Animal Planet, Investigation Discovery, Science Channel, Velocity, Destination America, American Heroes Channel and Discovery Life.

Users will be able to find programs organized into 14 genres, such as ‘Survival’ and ‘History,’ and explore curated playlists. They can also create personalized watchlists and search the Discovery GO offerings for series and episodes across the nine networks.

The launch coincides with the worldwide television premiere of Louie Psihoyos’s doc series Racing Extinction Dec. 2 at 9 p.m. EST/PST on Discovery Channel.

Discovery GO is available via and through mobile apps. Additional platform launches are expected in the coming months.

“Compelling authenticated offerings are essential to our relationships with viewers and distributors, and we are proud to join with our [multichannel video programming distribution] partners to bring Discovery GO to audiences – providing a robust lineup of programming and even greater value to subscribers across the U.S.,” said Bruce Campbell, chief development, distribution & legal officer at Discovery Communications, in a statement.
