Smosh thinks we should see other people

For everyone who’s ever heard the old “it’s not you, it’s me” line, Smosh has a new video for you.

“Every Breakup Ever” was posted Aug. 11 and, in less than one day, managed to rack up 750,000 views.

It’s the latest video in Smosh’s new series, Every [Blank] Ever. The videos, including “Every Dad Ever,” “Every Game of Thrones Ever” and “Every Party Ever” have accumulated more than 10 million views since debuting in May.

Smosh, the comedy team lead by Ian Hecox and Anthony Padilla, have been almost impossible to ignore both on and off of YouTube.

Smosh’s YouTube page boasts more than 21 million subscribers and four billion views, and the direct-to-consumer feature Smosh: The Movie is currently sitting at #21 on the iTunes movie charts for total downloads, ahead of Oscar nominee American Sniper. The Smosh movie is ranked at #4 for comedy.

But Smosh has managed to grow its presence off the digital screen as well — a new line of graphic novels depicting Hecox and Padilla’s fictionalized adventures is set to hit bookstore shelves in time for the holidays, and the famed Madame Tussaud’s wax museum in San Francisco recently unveiled wax replicas of the duo.
