New-York based Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) has created its first Digital Video Center board of advisors.
The 19 senior executives recruited from brands and agencies will provide insights and recommendations into digital video initiatives — including mobile, over-the-top and other platforms — and promote creativity in programming and marketing. Some of the names include Jordan Bitterman, chief strategy officer at Mindshare, Amanda Richman, president of investment and activation at Starcom WW, and Adam Shlachter, chief investment officer at DigitasLBi.
The idea behind the new advisory board is to bridge the gap between media buyers and sellers – “allowing for an open forum where discussion and debate can take place in the name of building a stronger foundation for digital video’s growth,” said Anna Bager, SVP, mobile and video, IAB and general manager of the Digital Video Center, in a statement.
The Digital Video Center is a dedicated unit within the IAB tasked with driving the growth of digital video within the marketplace.
