Vlogger Bree Essrig joins SourceFed

A former co-host of The Young Turks' PopTrigger, Essrig starts her stint on the Discovery Digital Networks' channel this week.

Discovery Digital Networks (DDN) announced on Tuesday that YouTube star Bree Essrig has joined its SourceFed channel as its newest host, working out of DDN’s Los Angeles offices.

Essrig has accumulated 245.7K subscribers and 12.7 million views on her YouTube channel, which covers topics ranging from her personal experiences as a victim of sexual assault, to her drunk movie “BREEviews.” Most recently, she served as co-host of The Young Turks’ series PopTrigger. Essrig has also worked as an actress and writer for such outlets as Funny or Die, What’s Trending, Pop Sugar and Soul Pancake.

DDN carries more than 110 web-native series across its lineup of digital channels, which also includes TestTube, The DeFranco Network, Revision3 and Animalist.

Essrig will appear on SourceFed beginning this week.
