Adrian Sexton has been named COO of Endemol Beyond USA, effective immediately.
The digital channel network and division of Endemol Shine North America has hired the former EVP digital of Participant Media to build and oversee new strategic partnerships and investments, as well as develop business strategy, sales and distribution opportunities for Beyond.
Sexton, also formerly Lionsgate’s head of digital and business development, will work from the company’s L.A. office. While at Lionsgate, he worked on strategic deals with BMW, Google and Microsoft, and previously held the position of CDO at Dynamics, a Bain Capital Venture investment.
He also co-founded the TAG Strategic and New Medici agencies. While at Participant Media, Sexton spearheaded the digital news and lifestyle magazine and social action platform for the conscious consumer, Takepart.com.
Digital network Endemol Beyond USA is available across more than 20 platforms including YouTube, Yahoo, AOL, Roku, Tivo, DailyMotion and Amazon Fire TV, providing content by YouTube influencers such as Michelle Phan and Brittany Furlan.
