Bear Grylls, the outdoor adventurist known for Discovery’s Man vs. Wild and Born Survivor, has teamed with Barcroft Media to launch a new YouTube channel.
Bear Grylls Adventure launches Friday, Nov. 28 and will feature adrenaline-fueled content from around the world. The channel is a joint venture between the star’s Bear Grylls Ventures shingle and Barcroft Media.
It will feature new and original Grylls content with clip introductions and behind-the-scenes insights from his adventures. Licensed long-form and short-form content from third-party broadcast, distribution and production partners will also stream on the channel. This may include extreme kayaking over waterfalls or escapes from ice-climbing disasters from the world’s top adventurers and extreme sports stars.
Brand involvement opps include simple banner ads and bumpers, as well as channel takeovers and bespoke advertiser-funded programming. Both parties will harness their social media communities to grow the channel.
