New York City-based video advertising platform Videology has tapped Tim Castree, former MediaVest U.S. COO, as its managing director, North America.
Reporting to CRO Ryan Jamboretz, Castree will lead business strategy in providing cross-screen media technology solutions for advertisers, agencies and media companies.
Castree comes to Videology with 20 years experience, during which he served as MediaVest COO (leading such client accounts as Honda, Mondelez, Coca-Cola, Microsoft and Sprint), Starcom MediaVest Group president, global managing director, as well as roles at BBH New York and with Leo Burnett and FCB in Australia.
“His experience in working for and with major media agencies, global advertisers and media companies — in short, all of our key customer bases — render him exceptionally well-qualified to position and align our technology offering with client needs,” said Videology’s Jamboretz in a statement.
The hiring is the latest move Videology has made to bolster its profile in linking the TV and digital video ecosystems. Last month, Videology announced the launch of a “TV practice” that offers advertisers the opportunity to execute cross-screen campaigns and capture the audiences that are moving across linear TV, smart TV and online video.
