Defy Media’s ClevverTV has launched a new series with Kingsley, a vlogger who earlier this year joined the digital media company’s Creators Program.

The show is called Drama King, in which the animated YouTuber comments on celebrity news with special guests like Lilly Singh, Grace Helbig and Anthony Padilla.

Drama King is available for sponsorship, and the Defy team is working on brand integration opportunities. “There are several segments of the show — Kingsley’s opening monologue, the game we play each episode, Kingsley’s final ‘toast’ that closes each show — that offer opportunities for sponsors to get involved in the content,” says Michael Palmer, SVP, Defy Media and co-founder of Clevver, in an email.

To promote the series, which will roll out weekly, Defy will be doing a Twitter takeover from noon to 1 p.m. PST prior to this Thursday’s episode 2.

“Kingsley will taking over ClevverTV’s Twitter account to interact with fans and answer any questions they may have for him and about the new show,” Palmer says. “We’re also cross-promoting across Defy properties’ social channels, including Smosh, Teen, Crushable, etc.”

Kingsley will also be launching 2 additional new shows on his personal channel this week: Inquisitive with Kingsley and a returning program called Really B Really.
