Digital distributor Juice acquires Grindstone Media

Juice, a distribution pipeline for content to iTunes and other digital platforms, has acquired Paul Zimic’s Grindstone Media.

Paul Zimic, who founded the Toronto-based media distributor, will join Juice as partner and become president, sales and acquisitions.

In his new role, Zimic will bolster Juice’s lineup of content for the digital distribution company that focuses on the film, TV and music markets.

Juice, which is led by CEO Andrew Buck, has upcoming digital releases like Sean Ellis’ Sundance audience award winner Metro Manila (pictured) and the Hot Docs title In Country.

Juice offers pathways to international digital platforms like Netflix, XBox, Sony, Google, Hulu and Amazon for aggregation clients that include William Morris Endeavor, Eagle Entertainment, Copenhagen Bombay and Films We Like.
