Time Warner Cable bows TV Everywhere apps for Fox channels

TWC customers as well as Bright House Networks subscribers will be able to stream programming for free if they download the FOX NOW, FXNOW, FOX Sports GO and Nat Geo TV apps.

Time Warner Cable (TWC) announced Thursday it is making content from Fox’s suite of networks available for mobile viewing through a slate of new TV everywhere apps.

TWC customers as well as Bright House Networks subscribers will be able to stream programming if they download the FOX NOW, FXNOW, FOX Sports GO and Nat Geo TV apps.

  • FOX NOW – Day-after-air access to full episodes and clips of primetime series such as 24: Live Another Day, Family Guy, The Simpsons and New Girl. Available on iOS, Android, XBOX 360/XBOX One, Windows 8 phone, Roku, and PC/Mac.
  • FXNOW On demand offerings of episodes of shows and movies from FX, FXX and FXM including The Americans, Fargo, Louie and Wilfred. Available on iOS, XBOX One, Windows 8 tablet and PC/Mac.
  • NatGeoTV – The latest shows like Wicked Tuna (pictured), available on PC/Mac and XBOX 360.
  • FOX Sports GO – Set to launch in the coming weeks, the app will stream live sports and shows from FOX Sports 1, FOX Sports 2, FOX College Sports and FOX Deportes including UFC, NASCAR, MLB, and in the fall NFL on FOX and local NBA games.

With 15 million customers, TWC is among the largest providers of video, high-speed data and voice services in the U.S.
