Re-imagining Story Development and IP Monetization
In 2013, independent multi-platform interactive sensation The Lizzie Bennet Diaries won the Primetime Emmy Award for Original Interactive Series.
The follow up to this success is “Emma Approved,” a full-length adaptation of Jane Austen’s classic Emma. Taking lessons learned from the immersive social media experience created for Lizzie viewers, Pemberley Digital’s Bernie Su has expanded Emma Approved into a grand five media story franchise that has attracted multiple integrations including the likes of Samsung Mobile.
This session will be an analysis of both series, deconstructing how they use a variety of platforms to create expanded story worlds that provide multiple immersive experiences and monetization opportunities.
