Marvel and Harley-Davidson team for digital Captain America spinoff

The motorcycle maker and entertainment company are looking to squeeze some extra miles out of the blockbuster hit Captain America: The Winter Soldier with a contest/mini-movie and digital comic.
April 16, 2014

Motorcycle maker Harley-Davidson and Marvel Entertainment announced on Tuesday that they are holding a Captain America: The Winter Soldier online contest to find a “super fan” to play the title role of “Agent 1” alongside the patriotic hero in a mini-movie and digital comic that will debut on the companies’ respective online and social channels this summer.

Hopefuls are invited to visit the contest website, complete an online skills assessment (age, interest in purchasing a motorcycle, ideas for a custom ride, etc.) and select a custom Captain America themed version of the new Harley-Davidson Street 750 motorcycle similar to the one seen in The Winter Soldier. The winner  also gets a brand new custom Harley-Davidson Street 750 motorcycle and a rider training course including a lesson with the stunt cyclist from The Winter Soldier, Riley Harper.

Filmmakers talk about the production process in the video clip posted above.
