MEC hires new digital lead

Josh Berman has been named the media agency's head of digital product development, helping to steer mobile and web content initiatives.

MEC, a global media agency that handles ad planning and buying for brands, has hired Josh Berman to lead their digital team.

Berman has been named MEC’s head of digital product development, helping to steer the agency’s digital product initiatives across social, mobile, performance marketing and digital content communities.

MEC is part of media investment management operation GroupM, which has developed sponsored web content like the recent Hulu docu-reality series My Side Of The SkyGroupM is owned by WPP, a British multi-national advertising and public relations company.

Berman, former director of brand strategy development for advertising technology company Kontera, is rekindling a relationship that began when he was part of the parent company’s MBA Fellowship program from 2009 to 2012, working with MEC and media investment management operation GroupM to develop the group’s trading and investment initiatives.
