AOL continues to evolve its global video team through the AOL On Network, promoting Charles Gabriel to the position of SVP of global video sales for AOL On.
In the new role Gabriel will be responsible for growing AOL Video’s revenue in addition to integrating the company’s recently acquired Adap.TV offering into the organization. He will be working with Graham Moysey, head of international at the company and Tal Simantov, VP, global video strategy to anchor AOL’s video presence in a number of global markets, including Canada.
Gabriel has been with AOL since 2010 when it acquired 5min Media Inc., where he had been working as VP of sales.
Ran Harnevo, president of video at AOL says scaling the company’s AOL On Network to reach a larger global audience continues to be a leading focus for 2014, adding he expects “exciting announcements” from the division in the coming months, according to a post on Gabriel’s promotion.
